The Board Office will only accept applications Monday through Thursday
from 8:00am to 10:30am and 12:30pm to 2:00pm
Effective Immediately: All requests for information/records from the LSBPIE
shall be submitted by Fax (225) 763-3536, by US Mail, or "In Person". The
request must be signed by the person requesting the information/record and
ID may be required. The LSBPIE is responsible for the custody of these records
and wants to ensure the requests are received in a responsible manner. The
LSBPIE staff appreciates your cooperation with this policy.
Pursuant to the power, duties, and responsibilities of the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator
Examiners (LSBPIE) as provided by LA. R.S. 37:3505 LSBPIE has suspended the licensee continuing education
requirement until such time as LSBPIE can promulgate and adopt rules and regulations governing the manner
and conditions under which credit shall be given by the board for participation in professional education
such as the board considers necessary and appropriate to maintain the highest standards of the private
investigator industry in Louisiana.
